Biomedical imaging and laser technology

Research topics of the working group of Robert Huber

The development of the FDML laser concept enabled light sources for fastest optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging. Our group is a leader in the advancement of FDML and its application in OCT systems as well as in nonlinear spectroscopy and microscopy applications. We regularly achieve new records in OCT imaging speed. Also, the special properties of the FDML laser make it an unique light source for stimulated Raman spectroscopy and microscopy.
