The Institute for Biomedical Optics boasts a modern and versatile research infrastructure that enables a broad spectrum of experimental work in biomedical optics. Our laboratories combine state-of-the-art measurement technology and commercial systems with innovative research setups and technologies developed in-house.

This combination allows us to apply established measurement methods at a high level as well as to develop and test new methodological and technological approaches.
