In autumn 2025, a new research network was established at the University of Lübeck to develop innovative methods for investigating the effects of autoantibody-mediated diseases on blood vessels. The interdisciplinary consortium "Methods to Investigate the Vasculature in Systemic Autoimmune Diseases" (MI-VascAD) will be funded for three years as part of the university's priority programme. The funding will also enable the training of four doctoral students in the natural sciences, who will conduct research in various clinics and institutes.
