Tianshi Wang from the group of Gijs van Soest at Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, developed together with Tom Pfeiffer and Wolfgang Wieser from the group of Robert Huber the so called "Heartbeat OCT" system. His work was selected as "Best Oral Paper" by the ECBO program committee from all submitted abstracts.
Sebastian Karpf, also from the AG-Huber, developed a fiber based MOPA laser and was able to use the nano second long pulses for two-photon (TPEF) imaging. His poster was selected as "Best Poster Paper" by the ECBO program committee.
