Micro-optics and Sensor Systems

Our newly established group will focus on the optical design and simulation, fabrication as well as the experimental validation of micro-optical and photonic components with the aim to transfer such components in the clinical practice. We will perform research on following main topics:

• Endoscopic systems
• Optical sensor systems
• Micro-optics for microscopic applications
